This website contains a free, online library of picturesque walking routes and hiking trails from around the UK. Every single route includes at least one (often more) ‘proper’ country pub for you to enjoy a real ale at as well as enjoying the glorious British countryside and its wildlife.

The Trails
What is unique about this site is that we have walked each and every single trail detailed here. We use a GPS tracking app on our smartphone to record the route, as we found many of the guides online were often totally inaccurate or out of date. We’ve also included photographs from around the trail so you can see for yourself which trails offer the sort of scenery you’re looking for. We also include detailed written instructions for those who don’t wish to use the app.

Endomondo; The Walking Tracking App
We use the Endomondo app to track all of our walks. We then make the route publicly available and provide a link to it on every walk so that you can download our route and follow it on your smartphone or tablet without the need to carry printed instructions around with you. The Endomondo page on this website will provide you with all the information to get setup for GPS-assisted walking, along with a step-by-step guide on how to use the app.
